Founded upon the premise that “principle” comes before “principal”
A dictum that guides the way we bank
In myself, and in the bank I am honored to lead, is a deeply instilled ethic of reciprocity – call it the “Golden Rule”: treating others as you would like them to treat you. This has been a guiding principle in my career, and something our clients have come to rely on.
For almost anybody making a list of what is most important to them, their finances and their home will occur somewhere near the top. It is an honor and privilege to be the institution most directly involved and entrusted with these assets. We do not take this responsibility lightly, and treat what’s important to you the same way we’d treat our own.
Keeping our values first and foremost, the rest falls into place. I am blessed to be a part of a talented team who shares these core tenets, and to cultivate a business and culture where this way of thinking is fundamental.
There’s a saying that goes something like this: “If you love what you do (and why you do it), you’ll never ‘work’ a day in your life.” How true I’ve found that to be – at City National Bank, we love what we do, and why we do it – we just get to call it our job!
Come on by – we’d love to get to know you.
